Attended the graduation ceremony of my PCF kindergartens, held at Teck Ghee Primary School.
Pre-school is important, to give all our children a good start in their education. The Government has major plans to improve pre-school education while keeping fees affordable, especially for middle and low income families. I talked about this at the ND Rally.
PCF Teck Ghee has been upgrading our teachers and improving our curriculum. All four of our kindergarten centres have attained SPARK (Singapore Pre-school Accreditation Framework) certification, thanks to the hard work of the principal and teachers.
Chatted with the kids and their parents after the ceremony. I know parents are anxious about preparing their children for P1, but I hope you will also let your children have their childhood and learn through play. I wish the students all the very best in their new journey. Congrats! – LHL
